State Spotlight
Before each five-day block, a dedicated page celebrates each one of the 50 states — in the order they joined the union.Â
"America enters its 250th year at a time of deep division, declining civic literacy, and fragmentation of national identity. The semiquincentennial is an opportunity to unify the country around the enduring values that remind us who we are and what we can achieve together."
